Dairy specialist Richards beth parry has some useful vice about heat stress. Cows tend to group together and stand up when they are hot. It doesn't actually help heat abatement at all for that cow standing in a group of other hot cows, but it's what they tend to do. And oversey, their increased standing less lying time. So that has an impact on their feet and milk production.
