In the tenth chapter of his book, Krishna introduces a new concept of God. He asks: What's real is this world? For us, choicelessly, this world seems pretty real. So even deeper, can we make it real? The idea in Vedanta is something called Parinama Vada, the idea of transformation. Cause into effect. As the seed is transformed into the tree. Wood is the cause and the altar and the table are the effect. But you will find the wood in the altar, in the table. In fact, it's nothing but water. It's a new name.
