Uma, how do you look at the steady state of a system? What do you use? I would generally define the system in the minds of people who are using and what keeps SREs going. It's something that is closer to business criticality, the service. Steady state is defined what happiness means for your end users. And if we're only measuring how often the points are happening,. then you're in for a surprise.
