We Have Sufficient for Our Needs
In verse eight, but thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him. Can you be a little more generous than the absolute minimum to try to keep your conscience from haunting you? I am amazed at those who give so generously of fast offerings that not only are they helping the poor feel fed for a day, but there they sense in their own small way, what it feels like not to not be able to do everything they want. We have sufficient for our needs, because that's collective consecration.
