In most fields, the work you're going to be doing in your first couple of years after graduate schools is heavily dictated by what you are doing at grad school. As you get to tenure and beyond, this is when you can really begin to shift the new direct. i'm a big believer in the ten year system, because, yes, some people will take advantage of ten ur to stop working. And but me, theyl feel less pressure, and that's good. And some are going to really innovate, and that innovationis going to be important.
