Taking Pleasure in Courtship Is No Sin
A woman who gives no consent to be engorted but nonetheless takes pleasure therein, is to be blamed if this pleasure arises from the courtship. A woman commits a great fault by entertaining improper affections even if she never intends to truly yield herself to her lovers. Sometimes we are surprised by some feeling of delight immediately following a temptation before we are well aware of it. This at most can only be a light venial sin. However, when we voluntarily and with full deliberation resolve to please ourselves in such delights, this deliberate purpose is, of itself, a great sin.
