The VAP Trial: A Comparison of Cap Rules for Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia

The goal of this was to reduce antibiotic duration for ventilator associated pneumonia. What I like to think of this study is as applying cap rules to VAP. The microbiology, there were almost no gram positives in this study. 40% of patients had non-ferminers and it was split pretty evenly between pseudomonas and edobacter.
