Hematuria Dysuria Syndrome and Metabolic Acidosis

The use of a stomach as a neo bladder, also called gastrosistoplasty, is less common today than it used to be. Hematuria dysuria syndrome is generally treatable with H2 receptor blockers or anticholinergic treatment. Most patients who have ileum for augmented bladder do not get metabolic acidosis unless they have very reduced renal function.
