The Utopia of the Monarchy

Adrian Bradley: The monarchy engages with popular life at a completely different level to politicians. There are only 27 monarchs in the world today and 12 of them are constitutional monarchs, monarchies. Having a hereditary head of state gives you two-year's extra life or better health service but it fosters those conditions of stability and continuity. And lastly, my favourite tweet of the whole of the last year, I don't really like Twitter. It's just in the week that the Queen died, someone tweeted, there's a pint of milk in my fridge.
