MIT Admissions

MIT takes a data centric approach to the admissions process. But what would you recommend to say a candidate who accomplished something amazing more than three years ago? Or, you know, has a great recommender from five years ago that he would like to write about his work experience and aptitude? Sure, so that's a judgment call based on that particular applicant. And I would always err on the side of keeping it more relevant and closer in the recent past.
