The Role of Governance in Open Source

I think many things, I think there's been an over-correction and that a way that Rust deals with a lot of its problems is to disappear people. And again, it doesn't just affect the people who get disappeared. It affects everybody who knows that person got disappeared. If we had ways that didn't feel like jumping off a cliff to manage conflict and accountability, it would be a lot easier to make mistakes...and own up to them.
