He went to a standard New York City public school PS26 where he says he got a solid education and even had a few great teachers. Still if there weren't many books available in paleontology and his teachers weren't science savvy then where did he find sustenance for this passion of his? The answer was delightfully surprising. Probably the most important thing I were to cite one incident and it has nothing to do with paleontology in a direct sense but in another way it has everything to do with career was singing in the All City High School Chorus.
