I think the whole world has lost rationality in this crisis to a very large extent. We have normalized shutting down cities, we have normalize giving un unaccountable power to decision makers. How can they cide who can enter your kids' school and whether you can even walk for a day if you're wearing masks? This is unbelievable lack of accountability because people can just do anything arbitrarily. I don't gor on wearing helmets everaday but i recognize the rationality of saying it is stupid to expect that i will get it by a er something on my head when i am walking around.
