A lot of athletes when they're having issues with technique, I would probably more refer to skill, they want to then go away into a more quiet environment and try and problem solve. When actually what we try and encourage the athletes to do is go away and clear the mind, maybe listen to some music and just let your body return to your defaults like swing pattern or default movement pattern.
