The Origin of Iron in Warfare
Iron was not adopted quickly in warfare or anry, but its use in agriculture also increased the productivity of farming. And this made it easy then for peasants with their iron and steel tools like ploughshares to fill their quotas very easily. By the end of the warring states period, those who had access to iron got a tremendous advantage. The society tended to have four strata called the shi, the shang, the kung and the nung.
