Did Jesus Teach Doctrinal Principles?
Machen argues that Paul's opposition to Galatians was based on the falsity of their teaching. He says Jesus did in fact teach doctrine just like Paul did. Machen liked to talk about the third question and answer of the shorter catechisms. The scriptures principally teach what man is believed concerning God, he said.
