Begging the Question
Begging the question is sort of a tautological thing, where the question kind of answers itself internally. If i say, a scot brick, have you stopped beating your wife? No, if you say no, because it presumes that you're already doing it in the question. And so for you even to answer the question, you're admitting the thing i want you to admit, right? That's begging the question. H the scholastics make a lot of, they don't made a lot of assumptions, but they they make some assumptions. They establish some axioms about motion and accept that paradoxes cannot exist.
