We Need a Strong Federal State That Can Suppress This Stuff

The Massachusetts state government was never going to work in a democratic context. We need to get under the hood, as it were, of the American system, and create a systemic response to this. Not just blaming the so-called demagogues, create a government that actually ministers to the common good. That wasn't by any means the consensus view of the convention.
