The Power of Reactivity in the Mind
Reacting tends to be easier, doesn't it, because it's so well practised? We may notice how our reactive patterns in the present reflect kind of much older, or we could say, much younger, strategies of reaction and self protection. These patterns often connect him with kind of survival strategis that we learnt at a young age. And these patterns have been developed early and then been learnt and consolidated by repetition. So mindfulness, at some very kind of fundamental level, is about unlearning reactivity.
