How Did the Celts Not Write Down Their History?
The Druids, who were the intelligentsia of the Celts, were literate. Even relatively uneducated people knew how to read and write. One of the very few complete sentences of ancient Celtic that we know says, Nata vin pi kord me dah,. which means pretty girl, give me some beer.
