The Rise of Privacy Notices in the Workplace
There has been increasing interest, I would say, for more than a decade in surveillance in the workplace. And as you were pointing out, there's been a real acceleration and interest with the pandemic in surveillance because of remote work. So what we're seeing is that this increased surveillance is butting up against both old laws and then also new laws passed to respond to these new technologies and increased surveillance. We've seen a seven-circuit decision finding that keystroke logging can violate wiretap laws.
