Is Proof of Work Energy Efficient?

i would love to understand a little bit about your take on proof of work's energy consumption. I think the argument would be, well, you know, gold that is above ground that's been mined over the centuries. It cost a lot of effort and money and energy to mine it. So i think there's a lot of things like that going on with biok when people tend to make sensational headlines. But atenically, there's no work specific to a transaction. The value to humanity of having a a means of exchange is very high. And if bickin enables the world to solve the and to have a bit of money, will be far more efficient.
