When we were teaching Emma how to swim, the big movement was to her swimming without floaties. And so to take off our shoes is to enter into a place of trust and surrender and vulnerability. To see Jesus truly, to see ourselves as he sees us, we must allow him,. We must allow others to see us for all that we've done and all that we're going through.
