The mission to gather intelligence on al-Qaeda with an aim to prevent another 9-11. Each of the eight-man alphabet CIA teams from Alpha to Juliet had been assigned to a different region of focus. The nucleus of the team was four paramilitaries from the Special Activities Division. But one of the things I found fascinating about them was they were not all elite warriors.
