The Importance of Reform in Social Ethics
The question of evangelical, evangelicals in race is another prime example where you have these evangelicals of color for generations who have said they affirm theological distinctives. And it became one of the strategies is to identify, for someone who would say, I check all those boxes and associate them as a theological liberal. If you vote this way, now obviously that shows deficiency in your theology, or even more explicitly saying things like the black, historically independent black church traditions are just full of theological liberal,. They're not really evangelical.
