The Ukraine War: A New Phase in the Engagement
Temperatures in Ukraine are now on seasonably high at 17 degrees C, which means that the Russian campaign to knock out Ukraine's power grid has failed. In Ukraine itself, Russia seems to be stalled at the town of Bakhmud - it's apparently a small town of limited value, but it's extremely symbolic. And so if we're talking about what this portion of the conflicts means in terms of what is going to happen next and its pivotal importance, well, it's looking really positive for Ukraine's ability to hold on.
