The History of the Oj's Turks

By the early 11th century we can recognize three major political entities. The Abbasids of Iraq who were under the control of the western Iranian dynasty called the Ghaznavids. There was also the Turkic peoples of the Ojibhu state based in the lands between the Caspian and Arulleses. This is the political landscape that existed before the rise of the Seljuk Turks, the subject of today's episode.
