The Role of Social Workers in the Removal of Children
Australia has a really clear history of social workers being involved in the removal of children. The stolen generation with our Aboriginal population here we have the forced adoptions in the 60s that happened for unwed mothers internationally. Where where the social work values sit in amongst that topic for homeschooling I think is really interesting this whole case brings up for me the issue of what do we think about social workers removing children now?
