The Last of Us - The Story of Connection
The Last of Us is really about how hard it is to love and trust in the wake of loss. The infected are actually connected through a root system. They've quite literally found their roots by being taken over by this fungus. And although we won't know for sure into the finale, what I believe we're really watching in The Last Of Us is the story of people finding their roots again in each other.
