Is There a Relationship Between Watch Time and Subscribers?

Ounona andi: Watch time seems pretty good. How much does that actually affect the video going out to subscribers? How much does it affect if it gets on to the trending part of yu tube or not? I can't see an unambiguously clear relationship between those two things. Do longer videos make you more money? And i think there there's a confusion that has occurred here among you two viewers, beause he's always making jokes about y got to get the video to ten minutes.
