Lambda Development Is Already Harder Than You Think
Lambda lets you run Java apps without having to worry about the operating system. Amazon has added a new feature that allows users to lock down their Lambda version and not update it until they're ready, which is great for big enterprise customers. But some companies who don't move very fast are now at the point of saying, well, we can't have you changing the runtime underneath us because that could break our code. The sort of the purest is saying, this is yet another knob and dial that I've got to think about.
