Svenska-Spell says women's sports will grow more than men's in coming years. Half of younger fans now prefer watching women's sports over men's, research shows. Potential sponsors see the women's market as ripe for investment. A report by Nielsen found that across three of women's sports biggest brands, FIFA, UEFA and World Rugby, the amount spent on sponsorship deals rose by 146% in 2021.
