A lot of what gets called worship in Protestant settings falls into our category of veneration. So I sort of don't blame a Protestant who just wanders to do an Orthodox church, right? And they say, well, wait a minute, you just sang a hymn about this saint. Like how great they were. Right. But your approach to things is very much the Protestant approach to things,. Even though you get different results than they would like you to get. "We attempt at least to give everything the respect it's due," he says.
