The Problem With Falsifying New York Business Records

Trump can't run for president and hide in Florida from extradition. Even if he committed the crime, it was federal. And that doesn't fall under the rubric of falsifying New York business records. If a judge throws this case out, that's going to look really like saying this is going to look bad is kind of an understatement. That would almost be a historic humiliation.
