The Hittites and the Hittite Old Kingdom

There could have been a migration of these peoples into the land of the hattians. And this could have happened as long ago as two thousand b c e. We don't know too much about this migration, but it does seem that this is a classic case of one society integrating into an existing society. Most of the earliest hittite occupations of anatalia appears to suggest that they lived in settlements which would vie for supremacy over each other. Not completely unlike the nature of the sumerians before they were conquered by the acadians.
