The Importance of Family in Charlotte's Life
Charlotte's parents were affectionate and involved in their children's lives. A Lutheran minister was a primary tutor of the kids. All members of the family, even the men, were adept and almost nerdily good at needlework. The entire family really relished their time with their community.
