The Pandemic of COVID

I have always been, thankfully, admired and respected within my own scientific community. There was never any opposition to that. What happened was the country was hit by an unprecedented pandemic at the same time that we had a president and an administration which was distorting reality. He would listen to a person who had no knowledge or experience as much as he listened to me or others in the White House. That's when I realized we were really in trouble because what happened is that the country needed truth, evidence, and someone with a degree of integrity that would tell them what it's like.
