The Holy Spirit and the Ego Don't Meet.
The most important thing is we by attitude. So jesus is teaching only love. Admittedly, he at times he's he can be firm. The ego and the holy spirit don't have a meeting point. When you're in line with god, then, as the bible says, if god is with us, who can be against us? That's the whole function here. It's not he's not compromising. He's incapable of compromising in his resurrected state of mind.
