How Do I Create a Routing Stack?

The end job of all the spaces is to create a list of page objects, which then have, you widgetts pages. The fact that i'm having to to talk so many steps just to explain it just shows you kind of how complicated and unweildy it is. So, yeah, yeah. When i was playing with the raw router, i think i had to you actually, you have to build up your own routing stack or something.
