Contrastive Hierarchy for Vowels
If there's no distinction between like tense and laxen, it doesn't really matter which one you choose that much. You can also make those different soci-phonetic variables too. Some things are pretty discreet, but vowels are not. So some people pronounce it as an ah, most of the time, some people pronouncing it as an allMost of the time. Uh, anyway, that's all I'm going to say about that because I could end up going all along and my daughter is awake so I probably should, uh, play with her.
