The Importance of Uncertainty in the Future
The human mind is unique in the capacity to set goals, imagine, think about, try to direct and guide the future. It's a natural human interest; we've been doing it for thousands of years. And so even if we can't be certain, even if there's going to be surprises, I am almost completely 99% convinced that anybody that will tell you that they are certain about the future is full of putting whatever expo to work in there.
