Observing the Group Dynamics
The mythodological takeaway is that you should really go and observe what happens in addition or instead, or prior to conducting interviews. You can't just rely on people's individual memories of what what they were doing outside of the group. And so for my dissertation, i did it litla bit of both. I actually observed the group and was able to talk to people about what they thought was going on. But i was able able to say, so in the group, this person said this, and then you said, that, or this other person said this. And then what were you thinking about there? In that case. s iwas able av reminded of some of the group dynamics
