Locative expressions are very common for marking the comparison. English uses than, but others might use to or from or various other things. In Jerbal there's an interesting overlap between verbs and adjectives with entirely separate lexical items in some cases. These adjectives don't have to be derived from verbs. They can be utterly separate Lexical items.
