How Does the Sun's Magnetic Fields Change Directions?

The sun has a very, very powerful magnetic field. There are these currents of plasma that ride like tubes of plasma bigger than jupiter rut. Thedotus calmly flowing in a circle the same way Year after year, they change and they swap. Are very powerful magnetic fields that sometimes get tangled up and sometimes snap,. And so it's very chaotic and hard to predict what's going to happen.
