Is the Sugar Tax Working?
A study came out saying it actually had worked. A team of quite open advocates of the sugar tax were given a one and a half million pounds to evaluate it. They did a, you know, a shocking piece of junk science really in which they estimated how much obesity would have risen amongst these kids if there hadn't been a sugar tax. It's straight away, this is an art rather than science. And even doing that, they couldn't actually forget any change amongst reception age kids or year six boys.
