What Makes a Jewish Text a Rabbi?
Rabbi Shmuley Boteach: There is a wisdom at play in recognizing that no matter who you are in life, like people around you have tora. What makes a person a rabbi or a rabbi is not necessarily their inherent ordination or wisdom. And so i want to celebrate that little learning of yours that you brought really briefly. In order to even do my job well as an interlocutor of the textual tradition, then i have to be willing to learn tremendous amounts of things about jewish tradition.
