When the fta met, they also were talking about approving boosters for people between the ages of 18 ixty four whose frequent exposure to the virus put them at high risk of serious complications. The a c ip committee felt that that was opening the door to a little bit too much vague language. And there was a lot of discussion about vaccine equity and and all that. But the c d c at large,. headed by doctor richel wolinski, actually decided to go ind aline with what the fta said and expanded that to everyone 18 and old based on occupational risks.
