The Attichirk Legacy of Secularism and Westernism

When you go from Greece to Turkey and Turkey degrees, it's a very different experience. I'm not saying that the Crusades were wonderful or Westerners are without blame. All I'm saying is that the Byzantines represented a different civilizational influence on the world than did the Ottoman Empire. And when that was lost, that was a tragedy which had effects throughout history. We have the phenomenon of people who come across the border and they're attacking the United States all the time. Why don't why do you want to live here then? It's the same thing. There's a reality out there but in our sincerest society we're not allowed to ask them.
