My dad was an atheist, Marxist, a jazz musician, doctor living in communist Russia. And he was pretty miserable. He smoked like a pack of cigarettes a day. So there was no meaning to his life. Anyway, he got tuberculosis and he was going to die. The student office was like, I can take you to the secret person who will heal you,. But it's a secret. You got to help me with my dissertation. If I, if I do this, and my dad was like, I'll do anything. That's also very Jewish, by the way.
