Is There One Way to Fight Inflation?

The IMF says there is a huge number of global central banks that are tightening, making it harder to borrow by raising rates and maybe some other policies. Unlike 2008, this time consumers have never gotten away with just bailing out Wall Street and the banks can't do something different than what they did in 2008. And at the same time that the Fed says they're fighting inflation, you've got the PMI and other economic data that's showing a lot of slowing.
